A West Coast girl, Karli grew up riding at her family’s Foxfield Riding School in Westlake Village, California where she mainly catch rode and helped ride sales horses for her aunt, Kathy Megla. Her main focus as a junior were the equitation and jumper rings.
After high school, Karli joined the Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association (IHSA) equestrian team at Goucher College in Baltimore, Maryland. She rode on the team all four years at Goucher helping the team ride to many championships.

Once she graduated from Goucher, Karli returned to her home state of California and began life as an equestrian professional. During her time working under the tutelage of Lesley Bulecheck at Cross Creek Fam in Malibu, California, Karli developed a love of teaching. It is at Cross Creek Farm that Karli became more familiar with showing on the ‘A’ circuit.
Currently a rider at Brookway Stables for Archie Cox, Karli spends most of the year traveling to horse shows throughout California. Karli and the team at Brookway Stables end the year with the indoor circuit showing in Maryland at Capital Challenge, Harrisburg for the Pennsylvania National Horse Show and Washington D.C for, her favorite, the Washington International Horse Show.
Riding for Brookway Stables has provided Karli with the opportunity to work with top-quality horses and experience showing at the highest level of the sport. As a well-rounded equestrian athlete, she competes in the Green Hunter through the High Performance divisions, derbies and Jumpers.
Karli recently received her USEF judges license after completing the Mentor Program under Scott Williamson.
